The wanderlust is real these days. With no hope in sight for international travel any time soon, I’ve had to make the best of my constant desire to see more of the world. So, what’s a girl to do? Simple. Hunt out all the dream Airbnb’s I wish to call my own home base one day.

At the start of Roaming Italy, I asked on Instagram what you wanted to see shared. One of the most resounding answers I heard were unique and charming lodgings throughout Italy. Well, I took the job to heart and let me tell you… it’s been a blast to dream big and find some amazing rental spaces throughout the country!

An Artist’s Loft In Florence

This bright, airy and sleek artist’s townhouse would make any guest feel like a visiting artist in the center of the Renaissance. Would you take a look at that wallpaper?! Plus, the outdoor garden area is a slice of paradise just steps away from the historic center. After taking in the David and the legendary Duomo, this would be a dream location to rest your head at night!

 

The Best Views Of Venice’s Canal

Does it get any more dreamy than a sight like this? Venice’s unbelievable canals are a feast for the eyes, and boy does this apartment set the table for some totally special perspectives of its beauty! And it’s located right across from Peggy Guggenheim’s home! I just like to imagine myself seeing the gondolas pass by while kicking my feet up with a glass of wine to end the day.

A Wine-Lover’s Stay In Montepulciano

DREAM VILLA. I’ll say it now. Montepulciano is beyond picturesque and ripe with small, family owned wineries… making it the perfect spot for wine lovers. This estate offers its guests the fruits of the region and some of the most luxurious amenities, but I would love to stay here for the villa’s beauty alone! A Chic Apartment In Milan

Located at one of the most convenient spots in Milan, this chic and modern apartment in the fashion capital of the world has some of the coolest details. When in one of Italy’s most metropolitan cities, you might as well stay in a totally stylish place to rest your head. I, particularly, am obsessed with that balcony!

The Perfect Solo Stay In Rome

I’ve never stayed in an actual home in Rome… so this place sit directly atop my own bucket list for when I return to the ancient city! This tiny home is the perfect, cozy abode for a solo traveler or couple who want to base themselves in Trastevere, the most picturesque neighborhood! Charming, right?

 

A Traditional Trullo In Puglia

When in Puglia, a stay in a traditional trullo is a must! This charming 300 year old trullo home sits pretty on a quiet hill with stunning views of the Puglian countryside. I love the charming, old world details throughout the space. Gorgeous!

Rustic Loft In Rovereto

Cozy, rustic and a place to settle in after a day exploring the mountain hikes and ski slopes. I like to imagine myself curling up at the dinner table with a cup of warm coffee watching the snow fall when in Trentino-Alto Adige.

When most travelers dream of an escape to the Tuscan countryside, I think many us conjure up a villa just like this. Vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, epic views and charm in every nook and cranny. I’m drooling over that little breakfast space next to the stone exteriors!

This small apartment has one of the most coveted views of Amalfi’s coastline! My goodness, what a romantic place. The sunsets here would be oh so dreamy. I’d love to call this my home base for a spell!

Okay, this kitchen and these views?! I’m drooling. I’d love to be cooking here for the Roaming Italy project. Siena is known for its sweeping, lush hills and this rural retreat is the perfect place to soak in those gorgeous sunsets with a glass of wine.

Strategically located to all that Verona has to offer, this edgy and stylish loft in the lover’s city is stunning and organized to a tee. I love the mix of old world details with modern luxuries!

Where minimalism shines is in rustic, beautiful details. This historic, stone home in Liguria’s Montegrazie has all the modern amenities with airy, rustic vibes that I get so dreamy about! This is pretty much my dream home!
